By creating an account or using Scoolingly you agree to these terms. You must use the platform lawfully and only for legitimate school communication.

School data & responsibility. School owners and admins are the controllers of the learner and family data they enter. You confirm you have the authority and consent to add learners, link parents/guardians, and send messages. You are responsible for keeping access roles accurate and revoking access when staff leave.

Messaging & quotas. Email and SMS are sent against your school’s subscription quota and are intended for school matters — not marketing or bulk unsolicited messages. We may pause sending when a quota is exhausted or where we reasonably suspect abuse.

Acceptable use. No harassment, illegal content, attempts to access other tenants’ data, scraping, or circumventing platform limits. We may suspend a school to protect users and the platform.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, iTsitso Space is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.

We process personal data to provide school communication: names, contact details, class and club membership, messages, attendance, and media you upload. We do not sell personal data.

What we do. Use your data to operate the features you see, secure accounts, meter messaging, and support schools. Each school’s data is isolated from every other school by row-level security.

What we don’t do. We don’t sell your data, advertise to you, or use children’s data for profiling. We don’t share data between schools.

Processors we rely on. Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Cloudflare R2 (media), OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (email), and Africa’s Talking (SMS). Each processes data only to deliver its part of the service.

Your rights. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Parents should contact their school first for learner records; for anything else, contact us at info@scoolingly.com.

We use only the cookies needed to run the app — there are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Essential cookies: your authentication session, the active school (and, in the Parent app, the active learner), your theme and language preference. The Manage console also stores a short-lived two-factor verification token.

Because these are essential to the service, they are set when you sign in. Clearing them signs you out.
